Called Bells as I had had a gas leak in the house which resulted in the gas bein...
Called Bells as I had had a gas leak in the house which resulted in the gas being turned off by the emergency engineer. They came out on the same day and fixed the leak in a friendly professional manner enabling us to have the gas supply turned on again with minimal disruption. Expert advice given throughout and I was kept fully informed of what was happening the whole time. More than happy with the work and would recommend them to anyone needing a gas engineer. Thanks

Our boiler was due a service and we had no hesitations to call on Bell’s Heating and Gas.This is the second time we’ve used Joe’s services and just like the first time, he arrived on time, was as friendly as ever and he explained the work he was doing. We’d originally had ongoing problems with our boiler before his first visit and since then it’s been running like clockwork so we’re more than happy to have Joe give it the annual once over. Excellent value for money and I’ve already recommended him to friends. Thanks again!

I made a very silly mistake of putting a screw through a gas pipe, and being on a Saturday I was very concerned no engineers available for desperately needed help. Four previous calls to other engineers proved fruitless untill I called Bells Heating & Gas, To be honest I felt like I had won something, engineer attended within 20mins of calling and he had repair completed within half an hour followed by many reassuring safety checks. Absolute outstanding service and all on a weekend when I thought this could cost dearly...not at all, very very good rates. I have every good reason to strongly recommend their service. Fantastic Service THANKYOU Sincerely A Hamilton

I called Bells Heating & Gas at 11.45am, arrived at 12pm Joe sorted the pressure...
I called Bells Heating & Gas at 11.45am, arrived at 12pm Joe sorted the pressure on my boiler, cleaned some glass box thing in my boiler & boom, i can now have a bath ready to hit the town! Joe was gone by 1pm! Friendly & polite, he even cleaned up after himself! Really recommend.

What is the average cost for a gas safety certificate?
We charge £65 for Landlord Gas Safety Record (LGSR) and £10 for any extra appliances. The prices for these vary across the UK. Price ranging from £50 to £120. The LGSR should take a hour, depending on what appliances are required to be checked. LGSR are very important, hence the price which will help keep your appliances safe
What is the best smart thermostat in 2020?
We have lots of opinions on what thermostat is the best, however I found i preferred the Hive for its quick & easy installation. Plus you can use it with the the Alexa. A lot of positives feedback from customers also so really highly recommend the Hive. This is also good for people of age, especially for ease of access
Why does the pressure keep dropping on my combi boiler?
A lot of issues can cause pressure loss from a leak on the system (pipe or radiator) or components inside the boiler from passing PRV's caused by expansion vessels or pin holes in the main & plate heat exchangers. Diverter valves can also cause leaks on central heating systems. If you have a leak on your system no matter how small. always call a heating engineer to find & fix the issue quickly.
