Q:

What's causing my Combi Boiler creating dark marks on inside tiles?

So I've just noticed today that a Combi boiler that I've had since we bought the house many years ago has a some what black stain above the boiler that has stained the tiles, if you can message me I can send you a picture. A couple of years ago we were have trouble with the boiler constantly blowing out but it was serviced and the company struggled to find parts but eventually did. The boiler is often loud and creates gurgling noises etc, we have a monoxide alarm but I'm worried about the thing blowing up! Please help me in understanding why these stains have occurred, again message me for the picture

The stains could be heat stains, often got above radiators too, but it also could be something worse. Get your boiler checked by a gas engineer.

The stains are possibly caused by Products Of Combustion leaking from the boiler. I would advise you get it checked by a Registered Gas Installer asap.
